Another "Kaaskop"
« on: November 14, 2010, 07:06:41 AM »
Hi, I'm the proud owner of a 850R automatic, color 422.

Currently I'm using a 16T with blue volvo injectors and a big intercooler (and several other changes).
Software is custom by Fasttech(.nl).

Thinking about buying a TT and start mapping it myself. Can I have OBD2 compliance on my TT converted ECU (European) or do I need a motronic 4.4 ecu for that ?

regards,
Marco

Welcome Marco.

When you ask about OBDII compliance, what exactly are you looking for?

1996 2.3l short block, 2.3l head, polished ports, back cut valves, S60R exhaust manifold, 18T turbocharger, 3" SS down pipe, w/ cat, muffler, and resonator. Turbo-Tuner ECU, Aquamist, 465cc injectors, custom cams, M56L w/ bronze shift forks

I already understood from adam (by PM) there are two kinds of OBD2 data; Diagnostic codes and streaming data. I'm looking for streaming data to feed my DashDaq toy.  ;D
