Will try it out this weekend and feedback the results. I guess the ignition's signal will be stronger than the RPM sensor (5V)

Yes it will be between 13 and 14 volts, but this should be no problem for the innovative inputs.

It's nice to meet some fellow members of the volvo850forum.nl here. :)
I have removed the "old" engine from my car last weekend and i am planning to install the "new" overhauld one, not coming, but the weekend thereafter.
After a short period of "braking the engine in",  i'am going to experiment with the usb-ecu.
Undoubtly, since i'am still a newbie  ::) at tuning the ECU, i will be using some advice now and then.
If it is alright with you, i would  be happy to contact you by then , if needed.
