No TT ME4.4 until the End of September???

Just got an email saying that there is a delay in component sourcing for the ME4.4 TT???

I was under the impression I was just waiting for a ready unit to ship from the UK.

Can you please elaborate on what is going on?

Apologies for the unforseen delay.

All TT M4.4 units are manufactured to order. We don't keep them in stock due to the large range of ECU numbers required to cover all the models, othewise we could be left with a large stock of unsold TT ECUs.

Unfortunately there is a delay in sourcing one of the components required to manufacture the M4.4 TT units. Until we receive those components we cannot make any more M4.4 units. These components are due to arrive on the 24th September and manufacturing of M4.4 TT units will commence again from that date. We have ordered more of these components than required to make sure this problem doesn't occur again.

This problem does not affect the M4.3 units.

You say any more units - I ordered mine back on July 10th - had sent CJ the ECU even before that... Still no good for me?

I don't think it will be possible. Of course, if these components do arrive earlier then we can get the TT units dispatched earlier, but I can't promise.

Once again, apologies for this. I must have missed your order, but would not have been able to actually do anything until the batch of USA ECUs landed in the UK.

Hussein,

Although your order was sent in on July 10th.  I had to wait for others sending ECU's too.  There also was an issue with compatibility.  Now that those are all sorted we'll be able to service customers in a more timely fashion.  Component availability was an unforeseen event.

Please accept our apologies and our efforts to move this along as quickly as possible.

Since there was a delay, I went ahead & ordered a revised tune from WOTH - setup for 625cc injectors & my hybrid 20g. If I can get 350+ WHP out of that, I may not need TT after all...

..That should give me time to play with my new Woth tune before I switch over. Will give me a nice 350+ baseline for gauging the TT setup....
